Festivals, Musings

That Friday Feeling

So, another week of work is over, another weekend of cinema stretches out ahead and I’m back in the beautiful surroundings of the Curzon Mayfair. Even better, this time I seem to have unintentionally bagged one of the best seats in the house (RRP is apparently £18, according to the very nice usher standing nearby; today’s price is a mere £12.50 – who would have guessed a film festival actually made the tickets cheaper?!). The seats are velvety and spacious, and what’s more, I have the most legroom possible. This makes me one very happy tall person 🙂

PS. I’m here to watch The Testament of Youth, a story of the youthful life of wartime writer Vera Brittain
